Inflation is an ever-going thing, the %percentage will just keep going.  And how do we break-even our savings or earnings through various financial instruments?

Situations observed:

• People not planning their finances or do any savings
• Some would perceive that minor savings or certain Single instrument of small amount would buffer for future use
• Expenses or Luxury commitment Out Versus the ratio to savings or financial growth instruments
• Forward planning is not acknowledged by many
• Sceptical towards financial instruments

Basic solutions has to come with open minds to accept them.  All to be mentioned has several considerations to consider upon:  1. Budget  2. Capital  3. Liabilities  4. Available Time to plan  5. Risk level acceptance.

#01 Fixed deposits is one of the many usual instrument people would go for, good to use when one is of close retirement age, tight capital of lump sum, people with liabilities to such when capital is required to be withdrawn should it be required with the setback of the capital taken out earlier than expected without a single cents earned from “parking” the money in them.  Returns for fixed Deposit is just marginally higher than plainly saving in the bank.

#02  Stocks required certain level of risk tolerance.  In this, there’s bound to be risk to be borne; such as loss of capital.  One long term and patient method, investing in larger scale and stable companies that offer good dividends. (ps.  still, risk exists)

#03 Endowment plans, regular or lump sum investing; or even limited term save with later maturity dates.  It comes with saving terms of 5, 10, 15, 20, 25 years OR even self dictated duration.  Things to note:  the longer the term, the better the compounding effect (provided you have the duration in life to commit).  For endowment planning, ONLY planned and affordable premium should be considered and the suitable duration of savings to be maturing at; early termination of plans would subject to loss BUT otherwise its a wonderful tool for the safe levels).

There are quite a few instruments to use BUT a whole lot of considerations to place, a wrong move in financial planning could result in a “not as good” portfolio.  Speak to your financial adviser over a cup of coffee, disclose your portfolio details and discuss in depth.

Remember!  Planning to not just about buying something new, but to consider instruments you have in place, how and what new instruments you need to input to make things blend into your different stages of life.

#It gets you greater wealth with the habit to save & planning for everything from your Business, Life, Health & Wealth.
#It gets you greater pie of happiness when you have more or less everything in life in a holistic cycle of planning.

What else can Good Discipline get you?  it’s an Endless List, but remember ONLY good Discipline on good Habits.

With these, questions stirring round the mind; are school support system in place for such education / counseling? Is there enough public support agencies for such situations for both kids and their parents? If there is, was there awareness done on the existence of such system?

SideTrack: are parents struggling too much to earn the dough or striving way too hard to earn a bigger dough to survive or shine in the reality of Singapore lifestyle? Indirectly, neglected . . .

Back to Work . . .

Over the Lunar Chinese New Year period and time after till date; I’ve bumped into so many people and some “Old Young Friends”.  People have matured a lot and moved on to a higher level of achievement in life.

People realizing that their objectives in life has changed, while some has settled down and it changed their objectives as well.  Whereas there is also the minorities whose objectives have been changed by unforeseen circumstances in life.

Whether one like it or not; it just sometimes needs that little Discipline OR Sacrifice to keep things going well for present & future.

It has ended with the usual “Just a Blink of eye”.  It has been a fruitful year and much I have learnt, SERIOUSLY learned a lot through this years journey.

Starting up from Ground 0, striving every bit from effort and sincerity.  Targets were set and sadly not met as planned, obstacles  were laid; Health being a major one or otherwise things might just have been great.  Summarized my year with almost 4 months of MC and a realistic 8-9 months of work+effort got me to where I am.  ”IF ONLY”, the year would be different.

Here I would like to thank all my Friends; my Clients; for making my years’ journey a great experience and with that I ensure all of you I would be serving all of you with my highest standard.  There’s too many to thank; and you ALL know who you are /much Thanks again.

Have you ever wonder, Why is it that you have been landing yourself in a situation whereby “it seems” that “money is always not enough” no matter how much your pay has increased over time or your earnings has increased.

• Try this for a few months and you’ll realize the importance and benefit of Savings and Better planning and use of your wealth.
